St. Dominic’s Grammar School offers an extensive programme of enrichment activities for all pupils. We strongly believe in the development of the ‘whole child,’ and support them to realise their own talents and gifts in a nurturing and caring environment.
Many of our pupils participate in the Duke of Edinburgh scheme (DofE), completing their Bronze, Silver and Gold awards.
As part of our World Challenge programme, pupils are presented with the opportunity to work on community and conservation projects. Travelling to amazing destinations such as: Malaysia and Cost Rica, they see unmissable cultural sights and enjoy adventurous activities from white water rafting to zip-lining and wildlife safaris.
As global citizens of the future, our pupils are encouraged to take part in our exchange programmes to both France and Spain.
Our Sixth Form students also participate in the Young Enterprise Scheme, developing their debating and presentation skills within a business context.
Our Extended Day activities are available to view on www.stdominicsgrammarschool.co.uk/enrichment/extended-day
All of these opportunities are available from the very first day a pupils joins St. Dominic’s and continues throughout their education.
