Our GCSE pupils have achieved a 100% pass-rate in every subject, including English and Maths.
93% of pupils also achieved the Ebacc, which measures the proportion of children who secure a grade 5 or above in English, Maths, Science, a humanity and language GCSE.
Head of St Dominic’s, Peter McNabb, said the excellent results were well-deserved and represented the culmination of years of dedication from pupils.
He said: “Everyone’s grades were meticulously scrutinised by staff and moderated by the school to ensure that everyone achieved a fair grade based on sound evidence and judgment.
“We wanted to ensure that students received realistic grades without the danger of them being downgraded by any algorithm, or pupils to be forever of the belief that their grades might not have been earned.
“Students can proudly receive their grades with the knowledge that they have not been generated with any additional help from an algorithm or inflated by unrealistic predictions from staff.
“I want to congratulate all the children for their hard work. They can now progress and focus on the next part of their educational journey.”
