GCSE success at St. Dominic’s

23rd August 2018

We are delighted to be celebrating an excellent set of GCSE results once again here at St. Dominic’s Grammar School, with a 100% pass rate for all students for 5+ GCSE passes (grades 4-9).

St. Dominic’s is a county leader for the coveted GCSE Ebacc results and this year the percentage has increased even further from last year.

Peter McNabb, headteacher, paid tribute to the hard work and dedication of students and the contributions made by parents and staff in helping to achieve the outstanding results.

“Our students never fail to impress when it comes to exam results and this has been another hugely successful year for our school,” he said.

“St. Dominic’s is currently ranked 25th nationally in the Sunday Times School Guide and our students have lived up to that amazingly high standard with another set of excellent results.

“These results reinforce our position among the top schools in the country and show St. Dominic’s is a fine choice when parents are considering options for their child’s education.

“Congratulations go to our pupils, our highly-dedicated teaching staff and our parents who play a vital role in the school’s success.

“We look forward to them joining our Sixth Form in September to continue their education towards what we are sure will be even more success with their A-Levels.”

St. Dominic’s Grammar School takes boys and girls aged between 2-18 and there are limited places still available for the term commencing September, although there is a waiting list in some age groups.
