There’ll be a hurrahing in town at our barn dance in May – and we want to see you there, pardners!
Dodge City is gonna be real quiet that night as all stagecoaches head back east to Brewood… and bring your gold dust along cos it’s all in aid of the school.
Our Bank Holiday Extravaganza Barn Dance takes place on Sunday, May 5 in the Peakman Hall, our saloon will be open between 5-11pm and we want everybody to dress up – or you’ll be run out of town!
So whether your a tenderfoot, cattle drover, gunslinger, schoolmarm or good-time gal we want to see you in cowboy or cowgirl hats, checked shirts, denim and bandanas for the hoedown. There will be live entertainment, a line dance caller, bucking bronco, bar, competitions and raffles.
There’s a range of foods, hog roast, vegan BBQ, ices, sweets and other tasty treats – something to suit everyone. The event is being organised by the Friends of St Dominic’s and is raising funds for the school so we want as many people coming along as possible.
Tickets are available from the school reception and food is included in the price. Under fives are free, under 16s tickets cost £7.50 and 16 years and over £15.
So don’t be afeared of bank robbers, bandits or injuns – the sheriff has sworn in enough deputies to see everybody has a great night!
