We are very pleased to announce that the school has been ranked the 25th best school in the country by The Sunday Times in the 2018 Schools Guide. This achievement follows closely behind last year’s number 1 rating by the Department of Education for GCSE and EBacc performances in the county.
Head of school Peter McNabb said: “These are exciting times for St Dominic’s and being ranked 25th in the country by the Sunday Times reinforces our position among the elite schools nationally.
“The 2018 edition of The Sunday Times Schools Guide is based on examination success and ranks the top 2,000 primary and secondary schools in both the independent and state sectors.
“To receive such a high ranking is an incredible achievement and we are immensely proud of this national status. It emphasises the tremendous work ethic of staff and pupils in our continued success. It is a highly regarded league table.”
