Wow! A-Level results delight for students

13th August 2020

Our hardworking sixth form students are celebrating some of the best A-Level results in the school’s 100-year history.

82% of students achieved A* to B grades, and school head, Peter McNabb, said the outstanding results were well-deserved.

The 100% pass rate means that everyone will be attending their first choice of university from September.

He said: “Clearly this year’s results day is different to previous years, but these results are in line with the predicted grades already submitted to UCAS in December.

“Students have worked incredibly hard, backed by excellent support from school staff and parents, and the results are testament to their hard work and consistent progress made throughout the year.

“We are absolutely thrilled, at the start of our centenary year, for St Dominic’s to be the leading independent school for A-level results in the area.”
