Peripatetic Lessons
A variety of exciting activities
At St. Dominic’s Grammar School we appreciate the many intellectual and social benefits that are associated with learning to sing or to play a musical instrument. We are fortunate to have a strong team of peripatetic teachers who visit the school to give individual lessons to the children on a private basis. This consists of Mr Hall, Mrs Morgan, Ms Oak and Mrs Outen.
Lessons from specialists are available in Piano/Keyboard, Violin, Flute, Cello, Clarinet, Guitar, Drums, Saxophone, Recorder and Ukulele. Singing and Drama lessons are also available.
Our specialist Performance Arts Department is an excellent foundation for a future training in the performing arts industry as proved by our current pupils who perform with The English Youth Ballet and The National Youth Theatre. In addition to some of our ex pupils now attending Italia Conti, Laine Theatre Arts, The Royal College of Music, ALRA and The Arts Educational School.
