SENCo

Our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo), Mrs Samantha Kirwan, BA (QTS) has over 25 years experience of teaching and frequently attends courses and seminars to ensure that she is kept up to date with latest teaching techniques. She is also the Head of the Pre-Prep and Preparatory Curriculum.

Mrs Kirwan assesses pupils and provides one-to-one teaching in a gentle, caring and supportive manner, working closely with her team and the other teaching staff to develop appropriate learning strategies.

Our school has support assistants who help pupils with mild learning difficulties such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia.

We are proud of the achievements of all our pupils and our annual value-added scores reflect the excellent work of the SENCo Department.
